Another Year Gone

Am I looking forward to next year??... Hell yes every year seems very precious to me now. I think because I'm 52 (There Jen I said it again..lol) OMG I hate that they go by sooo fast its not that I hate being 52. I don't... I'm loving it actually because I don't have to prove anything to myself or anybody anymore.... My favorite saying this year has been I don't give a f%#* I'm 52 and I can say and do what ever I like!!!!!!!!
Lets hope it applies to the next year so far it's worked a treat people back off and so they should....

Anyway it's been a very good year for me really started on a bit of a downer but that didn't last long. We went to Europe and Hong Kong and had the time of our lives. My friendships have grown and old friendships have got stronger I love them all.

Jodie's and Nas's Weddings which I think is my Highlight to see my beautiful little girl( I love you goda Bird) marry the man of her dreams makes me very happy....

Rob quitting his Job was a good thing to. That Job was killing him and putting a lot of strain on our relationship he was coming home so stressed. So now the old Rob is slowly returning gotta love that!!

I continue to find out things about myself that sometimes surprises me which is a good thing.

Today is New year's Eve and I'm spending the day with an old friend and the Eve with the new Friend...how good it that!!

Anyway here's to the New year Everyone and cheers to the old...

Friends are special

My dear friend Charlene and her gorgeous little boy Reece came to visit today and brought me beautiful flowers and the most gorgeous little teddy.....Thank you so much Charlene you brightened my day and week....so looking forward to Friday night!! I just love spending time with you and Jen.

UPDATE

My face has gone down thank god but my right eye is still very red and I have not been to the dentist as yet. I think I will have problem getting in so close to Christmas...well that's my story and I'm sticking to it!!.
My friend Pam fly's in tomorrow and is bringing her new girlfriend with her..(yes she is Gay) but that makes no difference to me. So I'm picking them up from the airport and I think we a doing lunch???? just what I need to get out of this house everything seems to be getting on top of me... espesally having Rob home twenty four seven... I love him to bits but he's driving me ((((((crazy))))). Looks like he may get the job he's been after!! he has a medical tomorrow they know he has had stents put in and there not worried about that!! so fingers crossed.
Keith is doing much better he has a new girlfriend and is a lot happier and is giving me heaps of cuddles... It's so nice to have my boy back!! I was so worried about him.
Jodie and Nas are planing there honeymoon to Thailand it's so hard for Nas to get time off from the restaurant but things are finally falling into place for him.
Nicole and Zac are working hard Zac has a new job he's a chauffeur and loving it. Nicole my poor baby works far too hard on her feet all day but she never complains...
Friday night I'm spending with Jen and the girls going to grab a bite to eat and then we are off to a crop so that will be really nice.
Anyway I have gone on long enough so I'm off to bed.

It was not a great weekend for me....I ended up in Hospital the abscess in my mouth turned really nasty....I was so glad Rob put his foot down and took me to SDH because it could have killed me... apparently because of my heart murmur. They took me in straight away and put a drip in and I also had a cat-scan. Then they were going to send me to RPH for surgery luckily I came good so I got a reprieve but I still have to visit the dentist this week and have three teeth pulled. Honestly I have never felt as sick as that before ....I even thought I was dieing!!..... I am so full of drugs that they are making me feel ill as well I can't win. Well I hope you can make sense of all this. Above is a pic of my swollen face ....yesterday morning I could not see out of my right eye.

I have been laid up for two days now and I hate it!! I don't know what I did but my back is killing me and to top it off I have picked up a bloody cold. (not happy) Robs been good he's been doing the housework and all the cooking... I don't know how I would have got on without him.


Jodie received her wedding pics tonight off Kim and Robo she loves them I can't wait to see them myself... might have to get Rob to pile me into the car tomorrow to go and have a look at them. It will probably do me good to get out of this house I'm going mad I tell you mad!!

Rob and I went for a drive to Toodyay and had lunch at the Freemasons Hotel which was divine I had fish chips and salad... after that we dropped in for a quick visit to see my gorgeous brother Les the local butcher I just love his shop it's on the heritage list... it's like walking back in time.

We then went to a little jewelry shop all hand made stuff beautiful got chatting to the lady owner and before I knew it an hour had passed Rob was not happy....lol

On the way out of town I spotted the Emporium what a great shop...very shabby sh eek
