I have had a job offer!!... of which I declined as it was full time (Operations Manager) with a new company and I was recommended by my former boss!! that's a real confidence builder because believe me he does not do things like that!<br /></div><div>Mum is not coping very well at all.....she is forgetting and misplacing things..... Christmas eve she had another bad turn so had to call for an ambulance! still no answerer's from the hospital.....I'm starting to think maybe she is attention seeking!!! I know it seems an awful thing to say but she is lonely......and I have to be more patient with her found myself getting snarly with her yesterday and I can't do that she deserves better from me......</div><br /><div>Rob is fine he hates his job but at his age there's nothing out there......so we are tossing a few idea's about and hoping to come up with something that will be good for both of us........</div><br /><div>Our Christmas was wonderful all the family was together lots of laughing drinking and eating.....I actually cooked this year...I was inspired by my friend and it all went I have neglected my friends and I'm sorry I will make it up to you guys I promise.<br />Today was my bosses 50th birthday so we put a lunch on for him at the office and we all chipped in to buy him a swim with the sharks even got a him a piece of juicy steak to hand around his neck...LOL. Will post photo's in a few days.<br />I still have not seen Rob much he's leaving for work as I coming home but it's all good. I might need some victims. I feel as though my confidence is running hot at the moment which is good I think?? I'm not prepared to let people walk all over me and in saying that I have probably upset a few people this week but I really don't give a dam I'm looking after me.<br />We have presentation dinner at the end of the month (silver service) at the Sheraton should be interesting all those cleaning companies in one room.....who knows we might win something ha ha ha.<br /><br />Tomorrow is Friday and I'm cropping with my dear friends seems like ages since I've seen you guys sooooo looking forward to it....but be warned my eye's might be a bit glazed as I'm going to my colleague home for afternoon tea!! One of my cleaners goes there after his shift to get the paper and a coffee. He has a stutter and is just such a sweet guy... the owner is very rude and impatient with him and looks down on him because he's a cleaner......which makes poor old Merv stutter more!! this made me so angry so I gave it to him with both barrels stuck up ignorant prick. I'm feeling great I love my job and I think it's the best thing that could have happened!! I think my boss saw this because he sent me to the Hyatt to meet with the property manager for an inspection on Friday I told him I'm not ready he wouldn't have a bar of it and said go.....so I did file in hand knees knocking stomach in knots I entered her office introduced myself shaking her hand and then we walked the hotel she was very pleased with the service we are providing and I took her for coffee all up I spent 2hours with her......success yeah!! I felt so proud of myself and when I returned to our office my boss gave me a wink and said well done Cath as he walked past me...apparently she the client is a very difficult one!! so I think I'll be fine. I know I can't please everybody and I will come across a few unhappy one's you get that!! but for now I'm very happy.<br />I promise I will not bore you talking about my job....if I do just tell me to shut up LOL<br /><br />Sunday and I'm rearranging and having a big throw out and getting my life back in order starting with my walk in robe Jen...LOL....I'm also going to turn Jodie's room into my scrap room Rob has set up the other computer in there for me. I'm watching the U.S masters golf play off with Tiger and Rocco I'm hoping Rocco wins Tiger Woods is a pain in the bum and such a dummy spitter.<br /><br />Today I'm ringing a lady about a job hoping to get an interview it's as a cleaning supervisor at a Government school and only 6 hours a day Mon to Fri so fingers crossed it sounds right up my alley easy peasy!!<br /><br />I've been working on my circle Journal I've picked poetry as my theme...thought it would give you something to think about...lol<br /><br />Gabby is sleeping next to me on the lounge all snuggled up on my blanket she's my little fury friend (Don't go there Jen!!) LOL I suppose when I go to bed she will too but that's OK she keeps my feet warm. Rob went for an interview and got the job yeah! even though it's not what he wanted it's better than nothing. We are still waiting to here from the Karratha job but you know how it is with local Gov they take there time!! and in the mean time we have to earn some money...I still want to do the driving job the only problem is it could take up to a month to get the F class licence.<br /><br />I've been really sick I picked up that flu that is doing the rounds I'm feeling good now thank god it was only a few days I'm such a wuz..LOL<br /><br />I have decided to ring scraptivate and see if they can squeeze me in tonight just feeling like I want to break out and see my mates fingers crossed!! I don't think I can handle another Friday night footy and Rob yelling at the ump's.<br /><br />Spent a really nice day with Barb last week she has just got back from her trip they had a great time and we never run out of things to talk about. Just thinking my friends are very important to me and I'm going to try harder to spend more time with them they bring out the best in me and have been there for me over the last 6 months I love you guys so much thank you I'm blessed xxxx.<br /><br />OMG Jen just reminded me of my birthday next Wednesday I'll be 50 f 3 and I will welcome it with open arms to be honest I'm enjoying my fifty's it comes with certain privileges it's all good!!<br />and I'm going to make the most of them.....LOL<br /><br />REMEMBER......Youth is the gift of nature, but age is the work of art!! The Rev Jerry did a great job. She is so lovely she also Christened Izzy her big sister and married Rhonda and Matt they both work at the collage. Rob and I left early as we were not feeling all that great and we were in bed by 8.30...but I was up again at 2am and went back to bed at 6am..lol<br /><br />Saturday I was flat out I went and had lunch with Pam so needed to talk to her she has a way of putting things in perspective for me I wish she lived closer...Had to also find a gift for Christina ended up getting her the girls book of flower fairies by Warne...its beautiful anyway that about all I got at the moment.
